error -2147467259 on random render nodes

Does anyone ever get this error when using multiple machines running xsibatch to get an animation rendered? I get this error(and halted renders) on random machines and it's very mysterious. I'm using Redshift and Mental Ray on different passes, but it sometimes happens with either engine, so there's no specific behavior or type of pass that causes the problem.

Could it be a network read issue?
