hello,
i could emit a particle from multi obj in a group right now, one obj one partile.
but how could i let the object follow the particle it emit? let the particle drive the obj . really puzzled me

Did you put an ICE tree on the objects which surveys the particle positions and then applies these to itself? you'll need a custom attribute on the objects which sets up the relation to the particles. With ID to location you could retrieve the SRTs of the particle.

i can't find a ID atrri in obj Group, which is it?
and if so, maybe need to loop all particles to find a correct particle?
may anybody afford a example? thanks!

Here's a scene. Everything happens in the point cloud's ICE tree, the toruses have nothing special applied to them. I slightly modified the Emit compound to allow a position array input.
The main problem is ICE's inability to set data on groups. You have to set the positions for each object individually (the ICE tree shows this), so if you have a lot of objects you'll want to use some scripting to apply the nodes.

You need to create these attributes by yourself in an ice tree on the objects (modeling stack).

There is the Transform objects by particles option in the ice/kinematics/effects menu...

I get weird behavior when taking Torus 2 from the simulation in your scene Chris_TC
mattmos that command doesn't respect object position.
You could try this node i have made while ago based on some Stephen Blair work.
It makes unique instances of objects in a group, put it in a simulated ice tree, link the group and add forces.
