Hi all, i've a question:
in my studio i've two Windows machines, connected in the same connection group. Only mine has Softimage installed, so the question is:
Can i rendering using both computers processors? and how?
Thanks

I haven't tried this myself, but my best guess would be, that you'd have to look into "satellite rendering".
There is a WIKI-page on this subject
here.
And you can find more info in the manual under "Rendering - Distributed Rendering"...

Googling "mental ray slave died" brings up many hits, not specifically Softimage-related.
One thing Softimage-related I found is this
KB article which basically states you shouldn't use BSP2 while satellite rendering...
