Very true.

I was always so disappointing in Avid not learning from the tools they purchased. They had SI and DS and still learned nothing from them when it came to MC. MC could have benefited so much from how SI/DS interfaces and tools worked but they did nothing with them. MC's interface still annoys me. Then they dump the two best things they had...no wonder their stock looks like a ski hill.

I remember when I learned DS on my first job as an assistant editor. Man ... it was crazy. Haven't used one for years, but the memories ... oh memories.
