i'm hoping to start learning xsi ......got a little question about xsi .... is XSI good for production shots / pack shots ? thanx

Welcome..! Well, XSI fits for most parts of typical 3D-production very well in my eyes (of course it does ;) ). The pass system works very well for me in many productions and different genres. Modelling tools are ok in most cases and fast. Overall workflow in XSI is just great....but it lacks alternative renderers in the moment. This will change hopefully with the Vray integration chaosgroup is working on. MR is a good renderer, but a bit slow here and there...
