ICE Modelling from Points?
Is it possible to draw automatically polygons from a bunch of points and eventually a closed solid or this needs a mesher like polygonizer?

If you do not have knowledge of the point attributes other than the point location, emPolygonizer is your best bet.
If you have knowledge on how points are to be linked to form a polygon (parametric surface) then you could devise a way to generate the polygons to create the object. This is what I do for parametric primitives.
I use emPolygonizer for point cloud, implicit primitives, isosurface, lagoa meshing, etc.
Another way to give you a sense of the shape is to create a little sphere or cube at each point.
You could then group them and shrink wrap the shapes with a subdivided sphere or cube. Be aware that any holes will not show with this method.
Last you could use the convex hull compound from Guillaume Laforge, you can download it from his site or RRAY.de.

Re: ICE Modelling from Points?
Thanks Daniel, i'll check the Guillaume compound and your tools. Meshers are a dead end since these are simple objects.
