Hi,
I simulated a flock of butterflies flying in the air, then I need them to aim to a polygon mesh and land and stick to it. For that I use "Move Toward Goal" and stick to location compound.
In order to perfectly fill the whole surface of the mesh I need the particles to land evenly along the surface, I don't want any gap.
Any idea how to achieve that ?
Thanks !

If I could use each vertex as a goal for the particles it would be enough actually.

See if this can help you:

A search here and in web will also show several dicussions about overlapping particles that might help.

or... use the dart throw addon to generate you location

Re: even spacing with particles goals
I followed the link you gave Bullit.
Seems to be what I need, but, there is a problem.
The "Get Geometry Sample" node does not generate one location on each vertex on my geometry, a lot a vertices are forgotten. There are less location points than particles, which result in several particles being attracted to the same point.
I have only 50 particles emitted ("total number of particles" mode), and the mesh I use as a goal to generate the locations is very light, only 60 vertices.

Have a look at Eric Mootz free set of ICE tools, there's something in there that probably help you out.
