Good sign they release a fix even with such tiny list. Hope that is a change and there are more SP's

Well it was a pretty major bug which affected some of the larger shops using arnold, so I guess it was a priority.

Great to see it rolled out so quickly!

I really like that they decided to release fixes as they are made.
I only wish there would be patches instead of full downloads.
But anyway, this is a good tendecy - keep it up.

Ha Hirazi... missed this one. Sorry for the noise!

Just a little warning for the SP2 users, some plugins need recompiling for this SP.
So if plugins and/or renderers (e.g. V-ray/Arnold) break, you'll have to wait for new versions that will support this release.

So, Autodesk rolls out a version that apparently breaks several(?) third-party plugins to accommodate the "larger shops using arnold"?

Depends how you look at it ;)

Apparently the SP2 SDK made some changes to ICE related code (don't ask specifics...), and as a result some stuff needs to be recompiled for SP2.

Normally this was only the case between major releases (e.g. 2012-2013, 2013-2014). Not sure why they did it for SP2, but some annoyances will be felt by this decision.
