Hi all,
I was wondering if there is such a thing in ICE as live video Node where you can connect a live camera and have it affect certain things in an ice tree??
an example on this would be something like this ( i have a point cloud and an ice tree on it and i want to have a live video feed with a depth filter applied on it to drive a force in the ice tree)
is this possible at all or am i just hoping for too much

I doubt that your computer will be quick enough to calculate 25 or 30fps on a pointcloud without frames being dropped.
I'd project a image sequence on a texture map and then do all the stuff you have on your mind. But probably it's possible.

If you find a way to feed in the live video you could try to keep the sim simple or trigger events. The smaller the video input, the better.

Ha, thought of you and your matchmoving experiments with facial capture videos. But if you didn't find away ...
