Hello
I am trying to apply a cached head animation to a head on my rig, problem is that head was originally detached from the body for rigging and animation and now i have problems in having the animated head to work on the rig cause obviously poly count on the head and the whole body difference so cant' apply the cache directly.
I have try to transfer the animation trough ice from the point cached head to the head attached on the body, but still i couldnt find a way to apply the animated head into the body, consider that i can't have the head detached cause she's naked on the upper part so now my question is, how could handle a situation like this.
Im sure there is a pipeline someone can suggest me.

If I understand this right, you could position the detached head directly on top of the "whole body" one (with all body envelopes transferred, too) then add an ICE tree on the whole body, with something like get closest point (on cached head) -> get pointposition -> set self.pointposition. You can filter that by a weight map or some other ICE attribute so that this ICE operation will only affect the actual head of the "whole body" mesh.

Hey thanks for the tip Nixx
Would it be possible for you to show the tree? couse i have tried using a switch context for reporpusing the heads (being geometry different) but its not working still :/

Switch context won't work unless it's the same topology. You need to swap the animation via locations (closest point for example)

would be you avaiable to show how you would set up the tree? i have seen your swap animation tut on vimeo and thats for sure what i would need to have the head to move along, but i cant quite figure out how to have it to work.

Thanks Nick
i went to that post some times ago, but for some reasons i couldnt have it to work i should investigate that.
