Mudbox to Vray displacement

Hi all,

did anyone tried mudbox displacement with Vray for softimage ?

I experimented a bit, and displacement work good with .exr files, but not with .tiff (32B)... Don't know why.
The only problem I have is that in 2D displacement mode, I can't put higher value than 1024 in the resolution slot. So I'm loosing details.
I have take a look at some 3dsmax tutorials, and they can without problem.

For those who have experimented, have you any advice for best results in softimage ?
