softimage on mac with crossover

Is this forum bugged?

Anyway, i trie to run softimage using crossover which is used to run windows game on a mac and it also support some programs.
The installation fails everytime.
Here is the log of 3 attempts, anyone a idea to get it futher?

Apart from purely a technical exercise there is no reason to try and run Softimage in cross over. Its a High Requirement Application. Put on bootcamp and run it natively in windows. You will be very happy with the result.

what bootcamp version do you use?
I putted windows 7 on it with a partition of 40gb but vista is taking up more then 30gb alone!

I havent used vista. My windows 7 installs top up around 8GB. Which should leave plenty to install Softimage. It might be a bit tight if you install the whole autodesk media suite though.

Just asking, but why using an OS that's over 6 years old and support for it is about to be stopped?
Also, the later Softimage versions might need something more recent that Vista.

Most of the people I know are running Windows apps via bootcamp, or within something like VMWare or Virtualbox.
