Artwork for dvd release (Azorian)

Hi Guys
This is an image i did for the dvd release promotion.
Please c&c as you wish even if this image is already done and dusted i would like to get some feedback for the next 1 which will come for sure.
down below you will find also the different passes in an overview,and the final promotion picture on the bottom of the image.

mmmm i noticed 2 strange things:

the sharks, that seems a little bit "out of the water", maybe cause it not has lights reflex on it...

the bank of fishes in the upper left corner.... why it's black?

The fist 1 is easy to answer.. The Fish are black because it was a directors decision.
I didn't render them like that as you see in the separate pass but while i was working in comp i was forced to make it "silhouette"
But as it was pointed out in the first post i have to argue with the boss a bit more the next time

The shark well..you said that it doesn't has light reflex on it. Actually i tried it with and without caustics on the shark.

And in the Picture it has the caustics on it like you see in the pass but also doesn't really has details in it (caustic lines) more like flat light maybe thats what you are referring to?
I have to agree that it somehow stands out as you said. Room for improvement

i think the sense of "out of the picture" is caused from the fact that all the lights streaks coming from the water surface are all behind the shark, maybe you can try to put some of them in front of the shark.
