Hi
I need help with particle emission limit, would be great if someone could give me some tips
(see pic)
i use "filter by texture map" , "set particle at age limit" and "delete particle at age limt" nodes for now
regards

If I understand you correctly, you could use the "enable" input port of your emitter node.
The following example tests if the current frame is below 5 and disables emission otherwise (sets "Enable" to False)

You could also use "filter by volume" if you want to get a moving emitting area. If that's what you want to achieve.
It's not very clear what you want to achieve.

hm
I have moving object with animated mask- using volume would be very hard to control.
For me the best solution would be if i could stop emit particles without turnning off emitter ;)
Seems that the simpliest way is make very accurate mask with clear marked emission area
regards and tx for help

Re: stop emit particles after emission
why not doing it all in your gradient ? you show us a black->white one why not using a black->white->black ? or using two gradient and multiplying them
