Hi,
When I use Photographic Exposure, the light intensity must be grater (eg. 400, using Light Exponent). Without exposure, it can be 40, for example. The problem is when I want to save the Diffuse pass using Photographic Exposure. The pass is overbright. The exposure don´t affect the pass, so it consider the intensity of the light as 400 without exposure control.
How can I use the passes and mia Photographic Exposure together? Is it possible?
Thanks,
mia Photographic Exposure X Diffuse Render Channel

When using the Photographic Exposure, you're working in a tonemapped fashion. This will change the way you do lighting, eg. the fact that your light values have to be much higher.
So when using passes, just be sure the shader is attached to the camera/pass, or it will not work for that pass.
I suggest to read up on the whole linear/tonemapping workflow, there's a ton of info by now on several forums.
Or I must completely misunderstand you......

Ah... and I forgot I wrote a little tutorial on the basic behavior in Softimage regarding linear workflow.
Just follow the link beneath my post

Thank you, very much, Rork. I´ll test this technique. I´ll be back to say if it worked or not.
