Hi;
I have a worm like creature that's rigged and in a model and doing a sine movement along positive Z axis as an action source, so everything meets the crowd fx requirements. Yet, when I go ahead and try to form a crowd out of it, all I get is a bunch frozen stiff actors without any animation whatsoever, and also oriented to look up in the Y direction. What's going on here?
Cheers;

Did you load your action? The standard workflow (load actor - create emitter - create crowd) in 2014 is broken. you are on 2014?jacobo wrote:Hi;

We have changed the workflow in 2014. If it's 2014, then i will be keen to help.

Maybe you want to change the workflow in the manual as well, and actually tell people that before they have to spend hours to find out what's wrong.Chris Chia wrote:Lord Futzi Voldemort wrote:Did you load your action? Now, how is the workflow? Because the one in the screenshot doesn't work! This is what you get, following the steps to the letter: "Crowd" is generated automatically when you load the default pedestrian actor including the actions.
After adding a directional emitter you get a crowd, but all actors are sliding in t-pose in the indicated direction.
After you select simulation > create > new basic crowd, you get "Crowd1" and nothing else changes.
The only thing that works is directly going to simulation > new pedestrian crowd and use the wizard.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
