Just rigged up a simple robot arm / claw to share with everyone. Haven't rigged anything in a few months so I did this little rig to keep my skills fresh.

Angel, Helge had a sample scene a long time ago (xsi 7?) for animating crabs walking that might help you. I think it was for his fmx motion graphics presentation.. I think its on here somewhere, but no idea where..
