Good news.

The wording qualifications are your own or they came from Chaos Group? there is no "substantial" in Chaos Group page you linked. I went there to see what it means and there is nothing, not even the word "substantial".

@ Bullit - it was direct copy > paste from the Chaos page. Obviously as RRAY mentions they have made some silent tweaks to the text.

the 1.6 files must have been pulled, I don't see them either.

from what i understand the RT stuff won't come along until 2.x and that will be a paid upgrade.

They have been. And they will be replaced in the next few days. No idea why, but that's what they told me.

I find rt useless (iuse vray in max since...dont remember), complete SI/ice integration and stability with fast export/iteration is more important IMHO

True - there have been a huge amount of changes and bugfixes not on this small list. Chaos group have done great work on this release.

If RT is a realtime preview like in Modo or LW (or fPrime) it is badly needed. Lighting a scene in SI is horrible compared to LW or Modo. Nightmare. Hopefully SI will bring a native solution with 2014.

I would be very interested on purchasing Vray, but does anyone know the roadmap ?
If the 2.0 is coming soon, I would prefer to wait for it, and not to purchase a 1.6 version, and a 2.0 upgrade...

I'm sure that I want a instance feedback solution for lighting and texturing. If it is AD or Chaos group based, I don'T bother. But I need it, urgently. The preview window ("q") is just too lame.
