em_tools ? about the emVI_create particles fromisland

I might be using emVI_create particles from Island wrong.

the mesh i have with the islands i used the emVI_Initialize island data to later create the particles on the meshes island. then within a point cloud try to use the emVI. create particles from island. the particles aren't being created on the polygon islands.

do i have to use emtopolizer to get it to work and get the vertex data from the Core node. or could i use the create particles form island with out emtopolizer?
