compound organization- task/subtask/subtask possible?

Hi all,

in the preset manager, under Tasks, I can't nest subtasks further than 1 level. Which is a bit annoying mainly because I've got this task category 'packs' where I want to keep my various compoundpacks neatly tucked away. And most packs have subtasks themselves. Is there a way to do this?

Something on that subject on eX-SI. You probably tested it already but for those that don't know how to do task/subtasks.

yep, "(...)The format of Tasks is task/sub-task(...)"; what I'm looking for is a 'task/sub-task/subtask' situation. Entering that into the compound doesn't work so neatly-

Presetmanager only nests one level deep.

afaik, you can have just one level per task. So for what you show in your screenshot, you need to move everything up a level, and, I guess, adopt some sort of naming convention.

On the file system you can have any number of folders and subfolders, so you can organize your "compound packs" there. And you can right-click a compound and click Open Containing Folder, and then drag-drop the compounds from there.

I'd still like to see a more versatile preset manager though, I feel it's restricted by this one level nesting max. I'll submit a feature request at AD.
