Different Hide Object Settings in Different Viewports Possi?

Post by Frank1000 » 13 Dec 2012, 10:26

Hi,
is it actually possible to have different hide object scenario for different viewports ? That would mean I work on the component objects in one view and see the result object in another view ... 4 example multiple bool objects result in a final model, where the final model occludes the components and vice versa ...
It'd even cool to make a script that can distinguish between viewports or to bind layers to display in certain vieports etc. ...

About viewport level visibility there's the isolate selection mode. Viewports can also show the object at different points in the operator stack.

Selection mode is per object though. You could do something with cloning/isolating.
