i always check mark the "render region options" to use the current pass settings.
i never work with preview, only render regions.
now i realized the (first time ever), there are artifacts in my rendered pictures not visible the render regions.
issues seems to be connected with FG.
whats the story here?
render region different then rendering and preview?

nope.gustavoeb wrote:Using lens shaders?
one architectural mat for glass and hdri env for lighting.
i mainly refer to the white artifacts.
they disappear when turn off FG.

hm, interesting property, never used it.
but since i always "Use Current Pass Options" in the Render Region Options,
all the copying becomes obsolete, since i set all the parameters directly in the MR pass property.

Re: render region different then rendering and preview?
a big problem i am having since the last projects. its really hard to work with high intensity lights and its reflections for example because final render looks different then render region. best is actually to use the preview render function because it renders correct intensitys.
