GATOR multiple objects at once?

Post by theboykidney » 03 Dec 2012, 12:24

Howdy,
I have a character made up of a load of different objects, and i need to GATOR across materials and UV's to a duplicate.
Can't find how to do multiple objects at once? is this possible? really don't want to have to do it it individually for that many objects.
cheers.

Sorry, GATOR can have multiple sources but only one target.

How did you create the duplicates? Normally you wouldn't need to transfer attributes manually.

You'll have to script it. I've had to do that a fair bit previously.

Those are throw away scripts honestly. You just need to do a loop over the selected objects and then incorporate the normal GATOR commands that are logged replacing the certain names with the selected object's name and also the target object's name. Hopefully they are named identically with maybe a minor variation.
