XSIDatabase shutting down...

Post by Hirazi Blue » 24 Sep 2012, 20:30

In case you missed it:
Eric Thivierge (AKA ETRocks) is planning to shut down/significantly change the XSIDatabase site in the coming weeks/months
and he urges everyone “to grab any of the assets that are stored on the site” (quoted from here).
And to make “grabbing” the assets a bit easier, he is even supplied a downloadable archive in one easy zip file:
http://www.xsidatabase.com/xsiDB_resources.zip
:(
Stay safe, sane & healthy!

No prob. The site wasn't being utilized and has become a pain to keep up to date with security patches. The work to keep it up to date wasn't justified by the amount it was (wasn't) being used. Rather get the site broken down and cleaned up to make sure that the accounts held there stay secure and the server isn't vulnerable to the viruses.

Good idea.

Best with what ever it becomes. And yes, thanks too.
