How do you mention what you do ?

What do you call yourself, as in, if you are a freelancer, what do you call yourself so people know what you do, rather then trying to second guess ?

You put a dictionary in their hands if they don't understand what "freelancer" means. That applies to any other word by the way.http://www.thefreedictionary.com/freelance

Kinda unclear question but if you're freelancing you can still have a specific area of focus. You can be a freelance rigger, modeler, lighter, etc. Or if you're trying to be more marketable you could say you're a Freelance Generalist.

If you're talking about describing yourself to people outside of the industry, then just say you're a freelance animator / cg artist.

Freelance Generalist Animator, I suppose would work :) This is helpful, I'm quite fatigued today :)
