Generate Final Gather Map File Now in Softimage

Is there a Generate Final Gather Map File Now in Softimage. This is a feature in Max to write out just the FG Map. No rendering happens during the generation of FG Maps.

"mental ray Render Options Property Editor > Render Type > Final Gathering Only" maybe?

generates only the final gathering maps required by the scene.

LOL I saw that option some time ago, when I didn't knew it's importance, now when I needed it I couldn't find it.
