Creating a UI for compounds?

Hey everyone, can you create a custom UI for compounds in softimage much like the way digital assets work in houdini? Or do you have to create a tool Ui completely from programming language?

This is one of the things that turn me away from ICE.

Are you talking about exposing the internal parameters of the compound? (Then yes)
Are you talking about creating custom buttons and adding bells and whistles? (Then no)

One nice thing added in the latest SAP is the ability to add custom logic to the interface (through On_Change_Value type events)

Yeh I was talking about bells and whistles lol...damn...oh well, basically i just wanted all my controls in one place and not numerous boxes open that controlled several different key things. Im not sure about the second thing you mentioned, like i said..NEWB

If you want all the controls on one place , then you can just expose them all on a single compound and everything you need will be available. It might get a little bit unwieldy though if there are lots of parameters.
