this may have been missed by a few folk when I only posted it to the Softimage mailing list, so I'm putting ist up here for safe keeping. Its a simple compound that looks at the closest and furthest distance and applies a spread of colours accordingly. Ive put in a few pertinant sliders for weight and also linked it to the scale of the the light, so scale to amplify the effect. Can be effective for a cheap, real-time fake SSS effect.
