I found a strange behavior:
Since I am looking for a solution to get rid of those pesky black FG artifacts in my renderings for quite a while, I found out that the FG sampling behaves significantly different depending on the primary visibility.
You can see it clearly in the attached picture.
- On the left side the ground plane is visible. Everything renders nice and smooth.
- On the right side I just deactivated Primary Visibility for the ground plane and nothing else! In the reflections of the lower half of the sphere you can see some hardcore FG artifacts.
Do I need to set special FG options when using Primary Visibility?
Any ideas?
Thanks
