Best way to deploy ICE-Compounds and Nodes

Hey guys,

do you happen to have any advice on how to best deploy a suite of ICE-Compounds and Nodes?

I've looked into self-installing plugins and such, but I can't seem to find a way to register compounds.
Just making the user drop all the compounds and nodes into their respective user-folders seems wrong to me.

I'd appreciate some guidance.

In a "classic" xsiaddon, you can use the "Compounds" folder under the Data folder to store your ICE compounds. After installation as an addon the compounds should be recognized by SI. (I can't recall, if a "Compounds" folder is provided by SI when creating the basic addon structure, but if not it can be easily added).

It's pretty annoying, but make sure you hit 'refresh' on the preset browser after installing the addon. Otherwise the compounds will not show up.
