Can substitute cloned source mesh ?

hi, I cloned a mesh A to mesh B. Could substitute mesh A to mesh C ?
For curve to mesh operator there is " substitute input " command. Is there same thing in copyOp?

If you use 2012, then cloning and merging can be handled through ICE, allowing whatever inputs to be swapped at any time.
