Problem with Shadow Rigs for Quadruped Guide

Hi,

I am trying to envelope a mesh with the quadruped rig using the shadow rig option.

Every time I try to envelope my mesh to the envelope group of the shadow rig, I get an unspecified error.

I tried this with the biped rig, and it worked fine. Has anyone else had this problem, or know a work around?
