Hey guys, i've got a setup here and i cant figure out how to work with shaders in ICE.
basically i have a geometry that gets modified when an object goes near it, the modify is driven by a weight map.
So when an object A goes near object B, the object B will have a weight map in the "closest location on geometry" wich is driving the effect, in this case a bulge.
So B goes near A and the faces bulge out.
my object B has a shader, now my problem is i want to drive the intensity of this shader (example the diffuse) with the weight map, the same way it drives the bulge. So when the object B passes near object A it modifies the geometry but also the shading.
How can i do this with ICE?
Thanks a bunch!

Re: drive texture or color with a weight map
If you've already got the weightmap generated from the ice tree, can't you just use it directly in the shader tree using the map lookup (scalar) node? Might be I'm not understanding exactly what you're after, but that should do the job.
