Particle Vorticity?

Post by izze » 12 Jan 2011, 18:40

Hello everyone. I am trying to export a particle simulation to Max with RFBinExport. I need to get the particle orientation which I am assuming is called Vorticity. I am having trouble finding out how to get particle vorticity. Can someone guide me?

Looks like I might have been way off base. After further research, I dont think it is possible to export point orientation with this method. If anyone has any ideas, I would be happy to hear.

If you brave enough, you can lookup equations for vorticity on wiki.
But I believe vorticity in realflow is just orientation vector, so (normalized) velocity vector should work.

I don't think I am that brave. I did find a workaround in Max. Cheers.
