Slice edge and separate parts?

Hi everybody! Is there in SI ability to select edges and slice object on two parts? Maybe some of you know a script or one-button tool (except http://www.kai-wolter.com/resources/xsi/meshslicetool)?

What was your problem with the meshslicetool?
This was the only one I could think of myself... ;)

Not sure what you exactly mean - for doing it manually there's always the option to split the selected edges with the disconnect command, and then use polygon island selection to extract the parts for the other object.

For a 1 click solution I don't think this can be automatically done - for more complex objects at least where it's not possible to identify the specific halves.

no problems so far just wanted to know, did i have any other tools for situation like that

hmm, i think about that too, but actually with some help of symmetry plane and little bit of logic... it's possible.. but the goal is not so spectacular

Guys, i found it! Plugin called "Dafeng Island Separation", found on blog of Xie Dafeng, he is Chinese.
