Battle suit model (my first attempt in softimage modelling)

Hi, as object, this is my first attempt in XSI modelling.
My inspiration came from this artwork:

This is my model at this point:

I would like to show you wireless, but how can I capture a viewport image?

Actually I'm pretty undecided about my software of preference. I doing the some mesh in Blender and in Modo. Blender is rally difficult for hard surface (no ngons, so, no a effective knife tool and edit a mesh is a pain, overware, in other situation is rally fast). Modo look the more fast in modelling (double click for loop selection and all adjacent polygon, plus other nice things, like records macro and make customized pie menu) . In XSI I had some problems (slow viewport first of all), but is more fast in other aspect: Move component tool and proportional move is awesome, as add polygon tool (in Modo this tool type generate artifact/double edge or vertex...), merge vertex and other nice tool (add edge tool one of my favourite). Why symmetry is so strange in XSi? Blender mirror work much better.
Now, I want animate, texturing and rendering this model and I'm undecided again...
C&C and advice are welcome :)

hello there, very nice and complicated model :D
i like it a lot^^
keep it up^^

oh and symmetry works nicely^^
cut the object in half, freeze all transforms
select, then press alt + click
a different menu will appear from there select
clone

now you have a clone of your selected object
to flip it give it a negative value of one
go to scale and input -1 (most of the times on x axys)
