Post by Mootzoid » 25 Oct 2010, 19:57

Howdy People!

Just released a little update of emFlock, it's version 1.1.

For the occasion I made a short video called Flockwork Orange,
here some screenshots :

And here's the video, hope you like it :)

Have fun,
Eric

PS: If you own an emFlock license then you can update your current version by simply downloading and installing the demo version from the emFlock web page. Then activate it by using your license code.

Very cool Eric.

On a sidenote. This is starting to annoy me. All those people with access to Arnold. I wish they start selling it to individual customers. Even if it's beta...
Now, I see all impressive stuff about Arnold, but also I hear here and there rumors they will sell only to 'big' companies and price will be very high.
This is sad.

Hi!

Very nice stuff Eric! I´m impressed, once more, my friend ;)
Keep it up! Looking forward to play with the new version :D

@origin
...yes, I can understand you, but as you can hear in the presentation held about Arnold in Siegen, Marcos said that it will be much cheaper than a copy of Softimage. Well, and I would just be patient for some time. I guess, release will not be thaaat far away ..

cheers,
oliver

@Owei: Merci, Dottore :)

@origin: understandable, but please be patient! The fact that there were two Arnold presentations at an official Softimage event (the German Uebertage) is a pretty good sign that there's "something brewing". The way I see it the guys from Solid Angle do not want to release something that is "almost finished" and in my opinion that is the right approach for both parties, the users as well as themselves.

Great job as usual Eric, your plugins are really top noch.
Sadly my wish to use them and all the hopes get instantly killed thinking i cant render that with mental ray in decent amount of time...
keep up the good work!

Damn neat - simulation and render times look awesome for that kind of result. When Arnold is released I'll be on a shopping spree it seems.
