Reference plane

Hi

I didn't find anything to model objects from new reference plane in softimage ... Does it exists or reference plane is only to make transformations ?

Sorry misread the original question. To answer properly, new primitives are always created at the global origin. However, if you are creating a new polygon mesh from scratch (N key when nothing is selected), you can begin by drawing on a reference plane (although the object's center will still be at the global origin). You can also move and align objects with a reference plane by switching to Ref mode and then setting the transformation values on the MCP to zero.

@zossowosso - the "vast" resource you link to, sadly doesn't seem to be available outside of the US & Canada.
I haven't been able to get the pages to load for quite some time now.

Luckily I own a copy of the admittedly excellent boxed DVD set "Production Series" they uploaded there...
