Thanks for joining si-community, Daniel. I hope you can encourage other members of the Softimage team to join up. It was nice to see Chris Chia participate on xsibase, but sadly I don't think he has joined here after xsibase closed. I've heard that members are participating on the mailing list, but I find forums much easier to use than email mailing lists...

Welcome aboard,

Hi Daniel. Thanks for introducing yourself and welcome to the community. I second what dwigfor mentioned, it would be nice to have other developers from Softimage post here as well.

Thanks everyone for the welcome!

Your feedback is definitely important. Even though not everyone on the team may have the bandwidth to actively post new messages or replies on all the various forums, Autodesk hosted or otherwise, we are actively listening (and working behind the scenes :)

Thanks again,
Daniel

I have a lot of respect for adam, and he does a great job, but in some of the videos he's clearly hampered by the laptop he's using, would love to see him working on a decent workstation with a good graphics card capable of showing the HQV in a better light.

How many people work on XSI in Autodesk ?
3-4 ? Are they, Autodesk, trying hard to kill Softimage ? I mean, we see all XSI features getting implemented in other softwares and nothing gets it's way to Softimage...

Hi there!

Seems that Daniel left us according to this post from Luc-Eric Rousseau.

Did not last long, unfortunately..and what a mess... :ymparty:
