too sad softimage need something like cad loader in modo
Modo doesn't have this by default, they're quite expensive modules...

One of the only, if not only solution to proper handling of CAD files (in whatever form) is Polytrans from Okino.

It can import and export almost any fileformat know to man, without loss of data.
The guy(s) behind Polytrans are very helpful and quick to respond.

Yes, it is a tad expensive if you don't need it often, but when you're dealing with stuff like this on a regular basis there's no other alternative.
There's also a module so you can import/export files directly from within Softimage itself.

Highly recommended.
