Hi, I´m emmiting particles to flow along curve, but everytime the particles are offset from the curve.
I tried freezing the curve, minimizing the emmiter´s area (to fit the curve to the radius I´d like) but nothing.
Particles keep flowing outside the curve. I even check: align particle to curve, but nothing.
Anyone knows how to emmit : 2500 instances tight to the curve flow?
Help me out please.
Thanks.
David.

Is your particle cloud zeroed out on the transforms?

Nope. As a matter of fact, I moved it (so it can closely be emmited on the path of the curve).

Thats most likely to be causing the problem then. Hence why I asked.sirdavid32 wrote:Nope. As a matter of fact, I moved it (so it can closely be emmited on the path of the curve).
Its best to not move pointclouds, and just move the emitter.

Yes, moving a point cloud is asking for trouble in my experience.

Re: Flow particles along curve - why offset?
The problem in the deep is not Global POS it´s that the particles aren´t tightly floating on the curve, they float rather very much separatedly. And if I Zero their velocity, they are only moved by speed on the emmiter and then...it should show so on the viewport, but no, it doesn´t

actually they stay in the shape you emitted them.
if you want them to fly tight, emit from a NULL or a single point in space.

Yes i think that is the solution^^ , i have done something simillar to this :sant0s wrote:actually they stay in the shape you emitted them.

So its possible to have them tight on a curve, but i dont remember details.
