Fixups Begin. I've never been happy with all my baxter shots. So, the few act one fixes that could be done are updating all the baxter images.
One of these is the newer model. Now, using the 'rest' feature of softimage, I only have to redoo these shots once with the new model. Now all I have to do when i make changes is export it, and boom, instant model update in the scene. no rework required if i like what ihave.
Will save alot of time.
Act 2 principal photograph was completed this week. more fine tuning coming, and then act 3 starting around december 1st. i want to get mostly done by new years.
a few more minor act one fixes. quick run through of it today and i hope to finally be able to leave it be hind. everything MAJOR is fixed, it's just little things that bug me now.
I want to fully focus on fixing the major things wrong with act 2 now before fully starting on act three

Deleting some, reworking from scratch others, modifying simply some others. so IHave a stable of reusable buildings so hopefully people don't notice the same ones.

So, we've spent the last month setting up all the background shots and elements needed to complete Act 3. with only one shot really finished with animation so far.
We've got 60 shots left to setup, and then it's time to delve fully into the animation. and, with any luck, end of february, begining of march, will see this project come to a close.....hard to believe it was started around 2010 with test shots and that I've had the patience to come this far.
the last minute of background shots should be reached by Sunday. and hopefully the rest done by the next weekend.
Then it's simply a matter of going back and doing the animation and final touches.
it's been a fun 10 year learning curve, but far too much work for one person. my nerves are shot and i need to get back to trying to relax
