Re: 2014 WISH LIST
I like what most people of have mentioned.
1.)I agree Softimage needs more modernized polygon modeling tool,
some of the tools from 3D Coat would be nice.
2.)Having a build in Sculpt tool like Blender and modo would be great.
3.)Better viewport
4.)iray would be nice
5.)better texturing tools.
6.)more features in ICE is always nice.

Because no matter how useful people think it may be, it can set an unrealistic expectation.Bullit wrote:Why?

Re: 2014 WISH LIST
I wouldn't worry about that too much, most of us know full well what to realistically expect of Softimage.Bellsey wrote:Because no matter how useful people think it may be, it can set an unrealistic expectation.

So we all would expect from Softimage that it shouldn't be a crap like Maya;)Hirazi Blue wrote:I wouldn't worry about that too much, most of us know full well what to realistically expect of Softimage.Bellsey wrote:Because no matter how useful people think it may be, it can set an unrealistic expectation.

Re: 2014 WISH LIST
Not 100% a Softimage request but something that has really been bugging me:
Make the "Send to Mudbox" work properly!! Right now i still have to export as .obj before i can paint in mubdox because the "send to" screws up the UV's!
It's had that fault for over two years and after all the Suites hoopla you'd think that big flaw would be fixed!

Re: 2014 WISH LIST
Thanks for the feedback concerning wishlists. I like them to see what other people are thinking. I know very well , and i suppose most , they don't represent what users will get.

Through these forums Ive come to the realization that often people will diminish Maya to lesser software just to feel better that they are using Softimage.gaboraa wrote:So we all would expect from Softimage that it shouldn't be a crap like Maya;)Hirazi Blue wrote:I wouldn't worry about that too much, most of us know full well what to realistically expect of Softimage.Bellsey wrote:Because no matter how useful people think it may be, it can set an unrealistic expectation.
It's a common natural human response, but maya IS better...at least now. No offense plz
