All right team! XSI theme for Blender is out and ready for download! If you're a Blender user, support the thread here: https://blenderartists.org/t/xsi-theme- ... 20/1220169

I hope this can get renamed to SOFTIMAGE. I don't see a problem with that since they have names like MAYA and MODO out in the open for themes.

Check out the complete FULL POST here: https://wp.me/p4qGvb-ox
Lots of pictures and detail comparisons on what I've done with the theme.
Thanks!

Keys that are hard coded and cannot be changed: U,S,G,R,X,Y,Z everything else could be custom key assigned.

Hello,
Started learning blender, and the theme is great!
Just wondering if there is a way to set a color for open edges in Blender.
Thank you in advance.
Cheers

Hey Grubber, glad you're trying out Blender. If there are any questions, I am happy to answer them for you.
About the OPEN EDGES, yes, you may go into EDIT>PReferences>themes>3DViewport> Then search for EDGE ....xxx....
Like:
EDGE SELECT
EDGE SEAM
EDGE SHARP
...etc..

If there are floating or "open" edges, (floating vertices) you can use: F3 (search) or Spacebar (search) while in edit mode, and type "merge by distance", a small pop up will appear on your lower left side of the viewport, where you can adjust the range to merge edges or vertex. When you're done, press ENTER. A notification on the bottom of the screen will tell you how many vertices were merged. You can click on the notif to pop up a window and read the message clearer.

Thank you. Unfortunately, I can't find any option to adjust open edge color. I am using 2.83 version.

I don't think there is open edge viz, (or maybe there is now I dont know..)

But to visualize open edges, you can also do -select all-,

and do ... Select > Boundary Loop
