If I understand correctly, it can't add the rows of points partially. It's Rhino style of blending and filleting, on top of lofts, extrusions, or like. Anti aliased lines are modeling feature, it's possible to select them. For example, select on edge and CTRL is equivalent of 'extract boundary curve' in SI.
Typical Moi only model, could be something like this one. Not easy to do the 'melted volumes', having a very long blends. Personally, I'm looking for affordable tool for subds - to - nurbs conversion, something stronger than old SI SCM. All in all, it seems the choice will be Autodesk Fusion 360, because of integrated t-spline - even it is...... it's cloud based :D. That is, 'import' means uploading to AD server, and so on....

Modeliing in Nurbs is a bit of building a puzzle. First of all you need to know what you will be doing. Then you make the curves that will drive the major surfaces. then you "join"the surfaces with fillets.
