Installed and running the trial, but.....

- Switching layouts:
If I have a non plotted sim, and switch between layouts SI mostly just grays out and hangs.
If I plot the sim to the mixer, I can switch layouts without issues.
Do people recognize this?

- Animation:
Like all other sim plugins, is there a simple way to get rid of jitter in 'rest state' at the end of a sim?
You can start fiddling with settings, but often that will change the sim as well.
Especially when plotted, is there a simple way to 'cut away' the simmed keys without doing too much additional work in the AE?
It seems the curves of the plotted sim go 'out into the distance', so deleting some keys in the end of the animation doesn't always works as the curve isn't flat.

Other than that it's a hoot so far :D

My suggestion is to share your experiences and issues with the Momentum User's support & mailing list, it is located here:

With 2.0.1, the first service pack for Momentum 2.0, on the way, I would like to announce a new major feature, which we have added based on user requests.

It is a geometry generation operator, called MomentumInstancer, which is able to create a continous mesh from a given pointcloud. All instances will be transformed into one mesh, so then they can be used with the popular Momentum Deform Rigid Bodies or Soft Bodies. This also supports enlarging the meshes at runtime, respectively emitting instances. Plotting has been altered to be able to deal with these new scenarios. Make sure to have a look at this, video, the last two scenes are actually plotted, to ensure you believe me that plotting works fine. :-)

Looking forward to feedback!

Having trouble with rendering ICE rigid bodies. Everithyng is fine on playback, but on render there is ugly simulation, or not simulation at all. Any ideas? Thank You!
