GATOR issues

Post by opentarget » 29 Mar 2010, 19:04

I have a character rigged up, and i need to use GATOR to transfer ring/envelope and shape data to other characters.
the characters are very similar and GATOR should do the job, but when i run it it jumps the new character forward....i wounder if anyone knows what i am doing wrong? or if there is a correct procedure to follow to get this thing working?

Just not to create new thread, I have similar problem with UVs. 2 similar objects, but the UV transfer is ugly! Please help.

Try moving one of the objects a tiny tiny little bit before using GATOR.

Also with UVs it really helps not to use the smooth surface option but closest vertex, and make sure the preserve property discontinuities is on.

Thank You, but Your advices don't work for me. Maybe it is some king of tricky mesh, though it is simple gun.
