SiSidebar

Post by tzoil » 04 Sep 2018, 19:41

Hi guys!
I did not find it in the forum, but if anyone interested:
https://github.com/ShikouYamaue/SISideBar
(He was recreating not just the xsi sidebar but the weight editor too to in maya!)

And the other tool:
https://github.com/mochio326/SiShelf

Enjoy! :)

I think his SI Weight Editor is the real gem here.

SiVertexColorEditor.
I haven't used it yet though.

I did a Maya project recently, and ended up with a combination of the BonusTools Weight Editor (poor man's SI WE clone) and NGSkinTools.
Worked well enough after the initial growing pains.

I had no time to dive into this version of a Maya Weight Editor, but it looks great. Also the side panel looks very useful.

Thanks for the tips!

p.s. I know AD wants all plugins in " C:\Program Files\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins " nowadays, but they still functions in a regular scripts folder. So if you have workgroups, it still works as expected ;)

edit: SiShelf is bleeping brilliant btw!! :)
