Hi, I have just noticed that all my renders that has straight alpha gets either a black or a white fringe when I scale up or down the image in After Effects. This never happened in Softimage Illusion.

Please check the attached image.

Looks fine here in AE CS6.
Are you sure you interpreted the footage as straight in After Effects?

Hi, did you scale the image and also did you set the color depth to 32 bit in the Project Settings?

Yes I have set the alpha to straight - unmatted.

Yeah, you are right.
In 32bit it has a black stroke around the edges. Can you share your render settings from Softimage?
I just imported some exr from one of my projects into AE to test and there is no such issues with scaling and 32bit project.
But I havent rendered those as straight images.

Hi in Softimage I just unchecked Premultiply with Alpha Channel (in the Framebuffer Tab). With Premultiplied Renders I don't get the fringe.
