Volumetric Shader

Any recommendations on any good volumtric geometry shaders for Softimage, VRay has a nice one, looked good for rocks etc. If you go to the Digital Tutors page under VRay tutorials you'll see an image of it, I can give a direct link if needed

Binary Alcademy appears to have one in it's shader collection, I saw a nice quality one in one
of the example images "volume solid shader with fractal". Is this shader in the downloadable
shader collection or is it a paid shader collection, if it is part of a downloadable shader
collection, which shader is it specifically ? Maybe I'm over looking or confusing names up.
